While searching online for a good lookbook to post on my blog I came across a few such as J Crew and Tory Burch, but none of them really grabbed my attention like Target's 2013 fall collection. What drew me towards their collection was how detailed it was. They told you everything from the total number of pieces in the collection to the price and even the exact dates of how long each garment would be sold in stores. I also loved the fact that Target focused solely on their clothes and didn't get all crazy with over styling and trying to set a mood with a back drop. The clothes truly speak for themselves, which is great when trying to piece together a lookbook. I also fell in love with their color palette. When looking at their clothes I see leaves on trees and all the other wonderful, warm colors that represent autumn. The prints and silhouettes Target chose were also nice; they were very casual, yet still stylish. It’s too bad Target doesn't have a store in the city because looking at this collection makes me want to go there right now to purchase some items! Below are some of my favorite looks from their fall 2013 line.

Bridal Trunk Shows
When I hear the words trunk show, I automatically think of the bridal industry and the very first name that pops into my head is David Tutera. If you're a girl, you've probably heard of him at one point or another and if you haven't yet, you probably will in the near future. For those of you who have no clue who I am talking about, David Tutera is an event planner, specializing in extravagant over the top weddings. He has a show on We TV called My Fair Wedding and has used this fame and exposure to created his very own line of bridal gowns, shoes and accessories. Every year he holds truck shows at different locations across the country and it is oftentimes broadcasted on live television, hence how I know so much about it! The bridal industry, in particular tends to utilize the benefits of having a trunk show to sell its merchandise. But it’s not just a plus for designers, women love the too because It's a great opportunity for them to go and try on weddings gowns designed by their favorite designers, optimizing their chances of finding the perfect gown.
