Video Fashion Shows: Jason Wu's Spring 2014 Collection
The world of technology is amazing! Jason Wu is just one of many designers that are taking fashion shows to an entirely new level with video fashion shows. Because of this fascinating new innovation, one doesn't have to be on the ever so elite VIP list in order to capture the full experience of their favorite designer collections. Now, one can actually see the full silhouette of every garment and not just the one angled shots from the fashion runway.
On to my opinion of Jason Wu's spring 2014 collection; I first heard about Jason Wu when he designed Michelle Obama's two inauguration dresses. Those dresses, especially the red gown she wore by him was really stunning. Wu's designs really capture the beauty of a woman's figure. This was also displayed through his latest collection. I really liked the collection and felt that it had something for every type of women out there; the chic and glamorous, the empowered women, and even the edgy and fun chick. Some of my favorite pieces were of course the gowns. I also liked his more casual dresses, his uses of sheer fabric, and his structured jumpers. My absolute favorite garment was this one black and silver beaded romper he had, it was simply gorgeous! If I could, I would buy it now and wear it tomorrow.
