3-D Holographic Fashion Shows!
Stefan Eckert's Show
Never did I think 10 years ago, when I was a little girl still listening to music on a CD player and watching VHS movies, that I would be able to have a touch screen phone where I would be able to listen to music and watch movies all on the same device. Seeing still pictures and video come to life in 3-D Holographic fashion shows did not even cross my mind! Technology is always revolutionizing and it's always exciting to see what new advancements will emerge. One of the world's first holographic fashion shows was the Stefan Eckert's fashion show in 2011. The first, I believe was by Alexander McQueen in their fall 2006 collection.
Stores like Forever 21 and Diesel have also produced holographic fashion shows. However, my absolute favorite was Burberry's 3-D holographic show in Beijing two years ago. This is because Burberry's show managed to awe you with spectacular images while still keeping its primary focus on the clothes. This to me is important because it wouldn't be a fashion show without clothes. I'm not sure why there hasn't been an increase in holographic fashion shows since 2011; it's probably due to the outrageously expensive cost to produce them.
